Product Review: Physiogel Calming Relief Gentle Cream Cleanser

Taking care of our skin especially our face is essential. Wearing make-up can enhance your physical beauty but if you don’t take good care of your face, you’re most likely to age faster. I was not into skin care before, if I clean my face with soap and water, it’s good to go already. However, I realized that it’s better to have a good skin care routine and not have make-up on your face than wearing make- up daily without proper skin care management.

Today, I am going to share to you a product review on one of my favorite cleanser/make-up removers. Been using this for nine months already and I like the effect on my face. Of course, I use other skin products so the over-all result on my face is not solely exclusive to this product I am giving a review. This post is not sponsored, and I am writing this out of my own willingness because I really like the product. This could help other women and men in their decision before trying one.
The product: Physiogel Hypoallergenic Calming Relief Gentle Cream Cleanser (Wow! Talk about a detailed product name.)

1.       What is your first impression on the product packaging?

First look and I love the packaging. It is a pump dispenser type, so it is easy to use. It has a lock to avoid spills in cases when you travel. It comes in a 200 ml bottle, so it is big and can last to you longer (I have issues about buying in small quantity because it requires frequent visits to the store, although products in small packaging are good if you are in the trial period). What you need to know about the product is there already in the product label. Indication, direction for use, ingredients, manufacturer, contact details, expiration and date of manufacturing, and even the result of a market survey. Very impressive and detailed label indeed.

2.       What is your first impression on the product when applied to face?

I first applied the product using my fingers. I pumped an ample amount to my face and spread it evenly on my face. Then, I used a cotton pad to wipe it off. It can really remove your make-up. It also removes dirt and impurities leaving your face clean, soft, and soothed. As per direction for use:

Apply using a cotton pad. Wipe off. Rinse free. Not suitable for eye make-up removal (but I use it to remove eye make-up, I’m just extra careful).

3.       Who should use the product?

It is for dry, sensitive, redness-prone skin. But as to me, anyone can use it. It’s hypoallergenic.

4.       What it does to your face?

Base on the label, it:

·         Gently cleanses without disrupting the skin’s moisture barrier (perfect for my dry and oily combination skin type)

·         Effectively removes make-up, dirt and impurities (I can guarantee you 100%)

·         Skin feels immediately comforted and soothed (you feel beautiful even with your bare face)

·         No preservatives, perfumes, colorants

5.       What are the ingredients?

Aqua, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Glycerin, Xylitol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Panthenol, Behenic Acid, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Acetamide MEA, Palmitamide MEA, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Oryza Sativa Cera, Squalane, Sodium Hydroxide, t-Butyl Alcohol, Ceramide 3. 6.       Manufacturer

You can never go wrong with products from reputable manufacturers and companies. Physiogel Calming Relief Gentle Cream Cleanser is manufactured by Stiefel Laboratories, a GSK company.

7.       What is Physiogel BioMimic Technology?

This is not just your ordinary cleanser/ make-up remover. Physiogel BioMimic Technology contains lipids that are similar to the skin and can replace lipids missing from dry skin.Physiogel BioMimic Technology is a science that works to soothe, help repair and restore the skin’s natural moisture barrier. 9.       Over-all rating

I really like the product and I intend to use it for as long as I can. I will give it a 5 out of 5 rating. However, each skin type is different from the other. What works for me may not work for you. What I can guarantee you is the technology behind this product.

The Top 4 Things I’ve Learned Over the Past Year

“And one day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire. And that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter than her fears.” -Mark Anthony 2018 was an awesome year! It’s the year I decided to make bold decisions and refocus my life. These are the top 4 things I’ve learned that I want to share with you. 1.        Career is not everything. There was a point in my life when I thought having a successful career is what matters most. I mean, having a regular pay check with incentives, car, iPad, and other perks of being a sales representative is lucrative. Yet, it cannot buy satisfaction. You will never be contented if you focus on material things and socioeconomic status. Career is not everything. When you rely too much on your job that you are afraid of losing it, then you have to refocus. Your career is imperative but there’s more to life than this. If you are no longer happy, no matter how you ...

WHAT MOTHERHOOD TAUGHT ME THAT MADE ME A BETTER INDIVIDUAL

To all mothers in every circumstance, including those who struggle- and all will- I say “Be peaceful. Believe in God and yourself. You are doing better than you think you are.” -Jeffrey Holland I grew up in an environment where women are empowered. My mom single-handedly raised us when my father died. I was only 6 that time, my younger brother at 4. Life was hard but I didn’t know that because my mother was able to conceal the ugly side of life. Fast forward to present and I am now a mother myself. My daughter will be turning 3 this May and so far, I’m still able to cope up with the hustle and bustle of motherhood. Wow! Life’s pretty amazing and chaotic with a toddler. Being a millennial mom, these are the things that I’ve learned and experienced that I want to share with you. If you are a mother yourself, I know you can relate with these. If you are expecting or planning to have kids in the future, these might give you an idea of what awaits you. #1. A baby i...

GUIDE ON HOW TO GET PHILIPPINE PASSPORT

I didn’t have a passport until just recently when I was told to get one. For me, thinking about the process and the scheduling is so tedious I rather do something else. In my mind, I didn’t have a plan to go abroad anytime soon so why bother. But then, I was informed by my colleague that I was chosen as one of the representatives of the Philippines for a conference this August in Japan. That pushed me to get my passport. I will be sharing with you today the step by step process of getting a Philippine passport.   Prepare the requirements. a.        For new applicants and renewal of passport, you need to have an online appointment . Walk- in applicants will not be entertained. However, there are those who are exempted from passport appointment. The following individuals don’t need to set an online appointment and can go directly to the nearest DFA Consular Office: photo credit: DFA official Facebook page ü   Minor who ar...
